The Pot's Secret
In a small, bustling town, a clever man known for his wit borrows a large pot from his neighbor. After a few days, he returns the pot, but to the neighbor's surprise, there is a smaller pot inside it. When asked about it, the man nonchalantly explains that the pot "gave birth" to the smaller one. The neighbor, though puzzled, is happy to receive the extra pot and thinks he has gained something valuable without effort.
A week later, the clever man asks to borrow the pot again. The neighbor, hoping for another windfall, agrees eagerly. However, this time the days pass, and the pot is not returned. Growing impatient, the neighbor confronts the man about the missing pot. The man, with a grave expression, tells him that the pot has "died." The neighbor is furious and accuses the man of lying. Calmly, the man replies, "If you believed the pot could give birth, why can't you believe it could die?"
